Abstract: The present invention relates to a sustainable method for manufacturing biodegradable food-service products from agricultural waste. The method comprises selecting and preparing agricultural waste, processing the waste into a biodegradable material, weighing and proportioning the processed material, and subjecting the material to compression within suitably configured moulds to form plates, cups, and other food-service articles. The formed products are removed from the mould and allowed to attain required shape and structural stability. The manufactured products provide resistance to water absorption, leakage, heat, and mechanical deformation, while being capable of natural decomposition after disposal, thereby providing value-added utilization of agricultural residues for sustainable food-service applications.
