Abstract: The present application provides a switching device, comprising a contact system. The contact system comprises two contact groups. The two contact groups are respectively an arc-resistant end contact group and a current-carrying end contact group, and each of the two contact groups comprises at least one pair of dynamic and static contacts. When the contact system is disconnected, a gap between the dynamic and static contacts of the arc-resistant end contact group is smaller than a gap between the dynamic and static contacts of the current-carrying end contact group. A permanent magnet is arranged on the periphery of the arc-resistant end contact group, so that, for the contact system designed as an anti-short circuit structure having a double-contact parallel circuit, on the basis of having a capability of carrying a large current, the technical effect of magnetic blow-out can already be achieved without providing permanent magnets on the periphery of each contact group among the two contact groups, thereby simplifying the structure of a relay, saving raw materials, and enabling the layout of the relay to be more compact.
