MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511056463 A) filed by Bharat Agrochem LLP on June 12, 2025, for Synergistic Herbicidal Composition Containing Ppo, Vlcfa And Als Compounds.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a synergistic herbicidal composition comprising: (A) Sulfentrazone; (B) At least one herbicide selected from Pyroxasulfone and Metolachlor; and (C) At least one additional herbicide selected from Imazethapyr and Pendimethalin, in combination with one or more inert excipients or carriers. The invention further encompasses a process for the preparation of the said herbicidal composition and its agricultural use for controlling a wide range of broadleaf and grass weeds, offering enhanced weed control efficacy through synergistic action.
