Abstract: ABSTRACT Synthesis of cobalt doped Gallium-Indium oxide for electrochemical detection of trace quantities of flutamide The present invention describes a two-stage process for morphology-controlled synthesis of cobalt doped gallium-indium oxide nanocomposite for the rapid electrochemical detection of trace quantities of flutamide in biological samples. Gallium nitrate and indium nitrate are used to produce gallium-indium oxide [(Ga/In)2O3], to which cobalt nitrate and polyvinylpyrrolidone is added to prepare the cobalt doped gallium-indium oxide nanocomposite [Co/(Ga-In)2O3]. This nanocomposite is deposited on polished glassy carbon electrode (GCE) and used for electrochemical sensing using a three-electrode setup. Incorporation of cobalt enhances charge transfer, increases active surface sites, and improves electrocatalytic response toward flutamide. The resulting sensor exhibits high sensitivity, low detection limit (~ 0.4 µM), broad linear range, and excellent selectivity. The method is simple, cost-effective, reproducible, and amenable to on-site analysis, offering significant advantages over conventional chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques. Fig. 5
