Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and a system for a cell selection management for a Dual Active Protocol Stack (DAPS) supported User Equipment (UE). The method comprises predicting a potential occurrence of a Radio Link Failure (RLF) in a source cell for a predefined first time period using a pre-trained first Machine Learning (ML) model based on a first dataset associated with the source cell. The method comprises identifying a plurality of cells present in the vicinity of the UE upon predicting the occurrence of the RLF in the source cell. The method comprises selecting a target cell among the plurality of cells using a pre-trained second ML model based on a second dataset associated with each of the plurality of cells and connecting to the selected target cell using a second stack of the DAPS before the occurrence of the RLF in the source cell.
