Abstract: A decentralized solar power sharing grid (DSPSG) system and method are disclosed, comprising a plurality of nodes (100a-100n) each having a solar photovoltaic unit (101), battery storage (102), a smart bidirectional inverter (103), and a local controller (104), interconnected via bidirectional power-sharing links (110) and a digital coordination layer (120). The nodes cooperatively execute a decentralized, rule-based and optimization-driven dispatch method, without a central controlling authority, together with a peer-to-peer dynamic pricing module (130). A resilience module (140) monitors for disturbances such as generation drops, node/inverter/line failures, and demand surges, computes node criticality scores, and dynamically reroutes power flow to restore stable operation, including under single- and double-node contingencies. A consensus-based control procedure enables new nodes to be admitted into the network while maintaining bounded per-node computation and transactionsettlement latency, allowing the network to scale organically from a small deployment to a large, multi-community deployment while preserving energy- sharing efficiency and voltage stability.
