Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure describe a system and method for a portable foldable post cyclone shelter with modular hexagonal configuration. The shelter comprises a substantially hexagonal enclosure formed by modular wall panels, a floor assembly, a roof assembly, and a supporting base framework. The wall assembly includes hinged wall panels configured to fold for compact transportation and unfold during deployment. The floor assembly comprises aluminium honeycomb panels supported by I-beam members and adjustable leveling jacks. The roof assembly includes triangular aluminium-faced polyurethane foam panels interconnected through tongue- and-groove joints and secured using removable fasteners. The shelter further includes a non-corrosive anchoring system for ground stabilization. A deployment method includes transporting the folded shelter, preparing a site, assembling floor, wall, and roof structures, anchoring the shelter, occupying the shelter, dismantling the structure, and storing the shelter for future redeployment.
