Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Adaptive Energy Management in Hybrid Renewable-Energy Systems The present invention relates to a system and method for adaptive energy management for hybrid renewable-energy systems including photovoltaic and wind-energy generation units, energy-storage units, a high power buffer unit, electrical loads, bidirectional power converters and a utility-grid interface. The system collects real-time electrical parameters and calculates source-confidence parameters and source-specific forecast errors for individual renewable-energy sources. A recovery-time estimation module estimates renewable-energy recovery. A dynamic energy-reserve zoning module divides stored energy into immediate power, renewable-transition, critical-load and available-energy reserves. The storage operation is modified by calculating the battery headroom and stress. Transient power imbalances are distinguished from sustained energy deficits for coordinated control of high-power buffer and battery. The converters and switching interfaces are dynamically controlled by feedback-based power-routing, which enhances renewable energy usage, reduces battery stress and unnecessary cycling, minimises renewable curtailment, and provides stable and reliable power delivery.
