MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611060580 A) filed by Manipal University Jaipur on May 13, 2026, for System And Method For Adaptive Multimodal Ai-Driven Clinical Decision Support And Teleconsultation Orchestration.
Inventors include Kartikey Kushagra; Kavya Agrawal; and Tripti Kulshrestha.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for adaptive multimodal AI-driven clinical decision support and teleconsultation orchestration. The system a data collection module to receives patient symptoms and predicts multiple diseases using a probabilistic model; a data refining module to refines outputs using a generative AI model to produce structured guidance; a multimodal analysis module configured to analyse heterogeneous medical data including diagnostic reports, medical images, and textual records using integrated AI models; an orchestration engine combines outputs from the probabilistic model, generative refinement module, and multimodal analysis module to determine possible medical conditions and generate prioritized recommendations; an automated routing module maps identified conditions to relevant medical specialties and facilitates referral to appropriate healthcare providers; and a teleconsultation module configured to enable appointment scheduling and real-time video consultation within a unified platform. Additionally, a data management module securely stores patient interaction history and clinical data for longitudinal analysis and future reference. The proposed system provides an integrated, adaptive, and intelligent framework for improving clinical decision- making, optimizing specialist referral, and enabling seamless telemedicine services.
