The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ANOMALY-TRIGGERED RESYNCHRONIZATION OF AQUACULTURE DIGITAL TWINS The present disclosure relates to a digital twin system (100) for an aquaculture pond (102). An edge device (114) acquires sensor data from one or more sensors (104) disposed in the aquaculture pond (102) and hosts a digital twin (116) that predicts a state of the aquaculture pond (102). An anomaly detection module (120) detects an anomaly in the sensor data, and an anomaly classifier (122) classifies the anomaly as a sensor anomaly, an environmental anomaly, or a twin-state divergence. Upon a twin-state divergence, a resynchronization module (124) computes a divergence metric between predicted and observed states and recalibrates parameters of the digital twin (116) when the divergence metric exceeds a threshold. Recalibration is withheld for sensor and environmental anomalies, such that the digital twin (116) is resynchronized upon anomaly events in place of continuous synchronization. (Fig. 1)
