MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541039590 A) filed by Mirrar Innovation Technologies Private Limited on April 24, 2025, for System And Method For Augmented Reality Vending With Personalized Try-On, Contextual Dispensing And Interaction.
Inventors include Prakash J; and Muthuraj M.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an augmented reality enabled vending machine system (100) comprising a cloud platform (101), an embedded processor (102), an AR display (103), a motorized vending mechanism (104), a speaker system (105), a printer output module (106), a wireless module (107), an RGB camera (108), a depth sensor (109), a microphone (110), a motion/proximity sensor (111), and a touchscreen input (112). The embedded processor (102) cooperates with functional modules (M1–M14) to render multi-category virtual try-on on a user through the AR display (103), derive body-related measurements from image and depth data captured by the camera (108) and depth sensor (109), map the measurements to size-specific stock keeping units, and actuate the motorized vending mechanism (104) to dispense a selected product. The system further supports user interaction, session handling, reward output, and connected operation in an automated retail environment.
