Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for autonomous hazardous gas detection, industrial safety monitoring, and real-time alert generation using an intelligent mobile rover. The invention comprises an autonomous mobile platform integrated with a plurality of gas sensing modules, a processing unit, an obstacle detection module, a visual monitoring module, a wireless communication module, and a power supply unit. The processing unit continuously acquires and analyzes environmental data to detect hazardous gas concentrations, evaluate the severity of hazardous conditions, and estimate the probable location of a gas leak. Upon identification of a hazardous event, the system autonomously generates real-time alerts and transmits hazard information along with live visual monitoring to authorized users through an Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled communication platform. The mobile rover further incorporates autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance mechanisms to enable continuous monitoring of industrial environments while minimizing human exposure to hazardous locations. By integrating multi-gas sensing, intelligent hazard assessment, autonomous mobility, remote surveillance, and wireless alert generation into a unified platform, the invention provides a reliable, scalable, and cost-effective solution for enhancing industrial safety, improving emergency response efficiency, and reducing risks associated with hazardous gas leakage in industrial facilities.
