Abstract: ABSTRACT The system (100) includes a sensor suite (102) acquiring environmental measurement data, a short-range wireless transceiver (116) receiving trajectory data (206), and a sensor synchronization circuit (106) generating a common synchronization signal. A sensor fusion circuit (104) generates a composite occupancy grid (204) with dynamically adjusted confidence parameters. A localization circuit (118) determines current pose via iterative scan matching. A path planning circuit (120) computes a traversal path (202) avoiding occupied cells adjusted using trajectory data (206). A motor control circuit (122) generates motor control signals. The common synchronization signal temporally correlates sensor data with trajectory data (206), enabling concurrent local obstacle avoidance and cooperative fleet-level collision avoidance with obstacle detection to avoidance response time of less than 150 milliseconds.
