The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a system (100) and a method for bidirectional grid-integrated solar photovoltaic (PV) electric vehicle (EV) charging with adaptive control. The system (100) and method comprises a solar PV array (202) with a DC-DC boost converter (204) executing maximum power point tracking, a central DC- link bus (300), a bidirectional DC-DC converter (400) connected to an EV battery (700), and a single-phase bidirectional voltage source converter (500) interfaced with a single-phase utility grid (600). An adaptive third-order generalized integrator (ATOGI) based synchronization and control module extracts fundamental grid signals, suppresses harmonics, and generates synchronized reference currents under distorted grid conditions. The system (100) and method enables automatic, seamless transitions across four power-flow modes PV-to-EV, PV-to-Grid, Grid-to-EV, and EV-to-Grid while maintaining stable DC-link regulation, low current total harmonic distortion, and near-unity power factor grid operation.
