Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BLOCKCHAIN-BASED PHARMACEUTICAL BATCH INTEGRITY MONITORING USING EVIDENCE- WEIGHTED RISK EVALUATION A computer-implemented method for monitoring pharmaceutical batch integrity using a distributed ledger network is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a risk assessment engine, batch data associated with a pharmaceutical batch from supply-chain participants registered on the distributed ledger network. The method includes computing a custody consistency score, an evidence completeness score, a cold-chain compliance score, a delivery consistency score, and a participant reliability score. The method includes calculating a Batch Integrity Risk Index (BIRI) value based on a weighted combination of the component scores. The method includes classifying, by a decision module, the pharmaceutical batch into a Release category, a Warning category, or a Quarantine category based on the BIRI value. The method includes recording, by a smart contract executing on the distributed ledger network, the BIRI value and the decision category. Evidence records may be stored in a decentralized storage system off-chain with content identifiers recorded on-chain. A tamper-evident audit trail comprising batch registration data, evidence submission records, custody transfer records, the BIRI value, and the decision category may be generated and stored on the distributed ledger network.
