Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CALCULUS-BASED WORKLOAD INTELLIGENCE AND PROFIT OPTIMIZATION FOR MICRO AND SMALL BUSINESSES A computer-implemented system and method for profit optimization of a micro or small business receives, for each of a plurality of products or services, a profit-per-unit value, an overload penalty parameter, a shared-resource penalty parameter, and a planned weekly quantity. An optimization engine constructs a profit function for each product or service comprising a linear revenue term, a quadratic term representing diminishing marginal productivity, and a cross term representing shared-resource contention, combines the profit functions, and applies first-order derivative optimization — setting marginal profit equal to zero — to determine an optimal weekly workload. The planned workload is compared against the optimum, and a total weekly profit, a marginal profit per product or service, the optimal workload, and a plain-language recommendation are displayed without requiring financial or mathematical knowledge of the user. Further embodiments detect and quantify hidden operational costs, predict overload and bottlenecks, provide a natural-language assistant, and support localised currency and regional languages.
