Abstract: Abstract: The present invention describes a system and method for capture-coupled multi-agent triage of lesions on anatomical surfaces comprising a capture subsystem configured to acquire lesion images and generate a capture-sufficiency signal, a specialist agent panel including a segmentation agent, a classification agent, and a risk agent, an evidence-binding module associated with a verified reference store, a reasoning module, and a consistency gate. The system generates a preliminary differential diagnosis and determines whether acquired image data sufficiently resolve ambiguity between competing lesion categories. When diagnostic ambiguity persists, a targeted re-capture instruction is generated to obtain additional images using acquisition parameters selected to improve visualization of discriminating lesion features. Outputs generated by the specialist agents are associated with verified reference exemplars and evaluated through a consistency metric prior to generation of a ranked differential diagnosis. The invention supports longitudinal lesion monitoring, biomarker-preserving colorimetric calibration, and evidence-supported triage outputs for improved diagnostic reliability. Figure of Abstract:
