Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPUTATIONAL ANALYSIS OF DISPLACEMENT AND IDENTITY THEMES IN ENGLISH LITERATURE RELATED TO PARTITION ABSTRACT The present invention concerns a system and method for computational characterization and computation of a displacement and identity theme that exists in any English literature related to partition. It includes a literary corpus acquisition system, a system for pre-processing the text, a thematic identification system, an identity expression analysis system, a system for extracting semantic relationships between texts, an emotion and sentiment evaluation system, a system for analyzing the narrative structure, a literary knowledge graph repository, a comparative analytics system, and a visualization and reporting system. Computation oriented linguistic Semin analysis is used to acquire and analyze literary texts connected to partition narratives for theme identification of migration, displacement, cultural modification and identity reconstruction. The system can also find semantic relationships, check emotional characteristics, analyze narrative structures and provide comparative information, across multiple literary works and authors. The invention aids in literary research on a large scale, helps enhance efficiency in thematic analysis, helps support interdisciplinary studies and offers a sophisticated Digital Humanists structure for the computational interpretation of partition music.
