MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641086839 A) filed by Sravanthi Kalle; and Vidyasagar Palla on July 16, 2026, for System And Method For Crypto-Agile Encryption Using Hardware Security Modules And Post- Quantum Cryptography.
Inventors include Sravanthi Kalle; and Vidyasagar Palla.
The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.
Abstract: A method for crypto-agile encryption using hardware security modules (HSMs) and post-quantum cryptography is disclosed. The method includes receiving, by a cryptographic management controller, data for cryptographic processing. The method includes determining, by the cryptographic management controller, a cryptographic profile corresponding to the received data. The method includes transmitting, by the cryptographic management controller, the cryptographic profile to at least one hardware security module (HSM) (104). The method includes generating, by the at least one HSM, one or more cryptographic keys according to the cryptographic profile. The method includes performing, by the at least one HSM, at least one cryptographic operation on the data using the generated one or more cryptographic keys to generate cryptographically processed data. The method includes updating, by the cryptographic management controller, cryptographic information responsive to a modification of the cryptographic profile for subsequent cryptographic processing.
