Abstract: Disclosed is a system (100) and a method (400) a method for configuring and deploying application in a computing environment. The system (100) receives a structured configuration file for the application. Configuration attributes of the application are extracted by parsing the components of the structured configuration file. Thereafter, the system (100) generates a modifiable data structure based on the configuration attributes. The modifiable data structure enables reception of modification input(s) to update the structured configuration file. Upon validation of the updated structured configuration file, the system (100) deploys an instance for the application in the computing environment based on the validated configuration file. The instance is stored in a cache memory (105), and may be retrieved for instantaneous redeployment of application, when required. FIG. 4
