Inventors include Partha Pratim Das Mahapatra; and Chaitali Roy.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETER IN A FLUID SAMPLE The present invention discloses a system 100 for detecting at least one physiological parameter in a fluid sample. The system 100 includes a broad-spectrum illumination source 102 to illuminate at least one reagent region 110 of a test substrate 112 by emitting radiation across a continuous spectral band spanning at least a visible wavelength range. The system also includes an imaging assembly 104 optically aligned with the reagent region 110 and captures reflected light resulting from interaction between the emitted radiation and the reagent region 110. The system further includes a microcontroller unit 114 and a memory 302 having instructions which, when executed, cause the microcontroller unit 114 to generate wavelength-dependent reflectance data from the image captured under the broad-spectrum illumination, derive spectral response features representative of chemical reaction within the reagent region, and determine at least one physiological parameter of the fluid sample based on the spectral response features.
