Abstract: ABSTRACT A system for digital twin based synchronization and control of a physical asset includes a communication interface (102) that receives sensor data streams from sensor devices (104) associated with a physical asset (106) operating across multiple communication protocols, and transmits control signals to actuator devices (108). A hardware processor (110) integrates the sensor data streams through automatic protocol adaptation to generate unified data representations. The hardware processor (110) synchronizes a digital twin (114) with the current state of the physical asset (106) via event-driven state comparison between the unified data representations and a stored digital twin state. The synchronization frequency adjusts dynamically based on the rate of change derived from the unified data representations. A trained ANN model (116) processes the synchronized digital twin state to generate a predictive output including a fault probability score, enabling targeted control signals to adjust the operational state of the physical asset (106).
