MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611070853 A) filed by Stabor India Private Limited on June 07, 2026, for System And Method For Dual-Channel Iso 15118 Plc And Evse Control For Concurrent Ev Charging.

Inventors include Gaurav Lohia; and Dr. Vivek Prakash Pankaj.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The invention relates to electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) communication and control, and particularly to a system enabling concurrent charging of two electric vehicles using dual-channel ISO 15118 power line communication. A module includes a host processor interfaced through separate SPI interface paths with respective HomePlug Green PHY PLC integrated circuits for first and second charging channels. Analog coupling paths including filter circuits and PLC couplers communicate PLC content over respective control pilot paths while attenuating IEC 61851 pilot-frequency content. A control pilot interface, microcontroller, and PWM generator perform pilot conditioning, connector-state classification, and channel-specific PWM signaling. The host processor executes channel-wise SLAC modules, SECC instances, and an EVSE decision engine to manage ISO 15118-2 communication, relay control, fault-aware operation, and connector-specific charging orchestration.
