Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Dynamic Load Monitoring and Failure Prediction in Mechanical Components The present disclosure provides a system and method for dynamic load monitoring and failure prediction in mechanical components. The system includes a plurality of sensors, a processor and a memory, the sensors in use acquiring time varying load and mechanical response parameters including force, strain, vibration, displacement, temperature, torque and rotational speed. The processor synchronises sensor measurements and reconstructs a dynamic load-state vector, develops a component-specific healthy mechanical response signature, identifies load-response deviations and evaluates post-load recovery characteristics. The processor also classifies loading events in reversible and persistent degradation conditions, tracks a dynamic damage state, analyses spatial load-transfer changes and generates a failure precursor signature. The system predicts a failure condition, failure mode and remaining operating capacity based on the failure precursor signature and dynamically modifies at least one operating parameter of an associated machine. This enables early degradation detection, failure prediction and adaptive protection of mechanical components.
