The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an intelligent multi-sensor smart-bag system for personal-item identification, verification, inventory management, and context-aware packing assistance. The system comprises an NFC Reader (101a), Load Cell + HX711 (101b), Magnetic Switch (101c), Motion Sensor (101d), ESP32- CAM (101e), and Main Controller (102) configured for event-driven sensor fusion. Each registered personal item is associated with a unique NFC identifier and expected weight information. Upon NFC detection, sensor observations including weight variation, bag open/closed state, motion, and captured visual information are time-correlated to determine whether the identified item is IN BAG, OUTSIDE BAG, or UNCERTAIN. Verified item states are automatically updated in a digital inventory and communicated through a Mobile App (108), with event notifications and captured images. Backend and Cloud Storage (106) maintain item, inventory, and event information. An AI Recommendation Engine (107) further generates personalized packing recommendations using destination, trip duration, activities, environmental conditions, and registered inventory.
