Abstract: The present disclosure relates to computing hardware for retrieval-augmented natural language generation. The disclosed system comprises a host processor (100), a vector retrieval store (101), a language model accelerator (102) and a working memory (103) partitioned into a reserved index memory partition (106) and a document buffer region (107). A graph indexing unit (105) rebuilds an evolving graph index (108) at each retrieval iteration, an attention-priority mapping circuit (109) reassigns page table entries of anchored token positions into a high-priority region (110), and a direct memory access controller (112) reconfigures memory bus arbitration. A sufficiency evaluation unit (113) generates graph-conditioned subqueries. The technical advantage is deterministic anchoring of distributed evidence and physical suppression of retrieval noise. The system applies to multi-hop question answering computing systems.
