MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511000804 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Technology Delhi; and I-Hub Foundation For Cobotics Ihfc on January 03, 2025, for System And Method For Generating A Plurality Of Linear Chirp Signals.
Inventors include Palani, Rakesh Kumar; Tripathi, Sweta; and V, Aadarsh.
The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.
Abstract: An apparatus (100) to generate a plurality of linear chirp signals for a predefined frequency bandwidth is disclosed. The apparatus (100) includes a frequency synthesizer unit (FSU) (106), a pair of voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) (102), and an output unit (700). The FSU (106) is adapted to generate a plurality of calibrated control voltages corresponding to a plurality of frequencies within the predefined frequency bandwidth. The pair of VCOs includes a first VCO (102) and a second VCO (104), wherein the first VCO (102) and the second VCO (104) are adapted to operate in a calibration phase and a generation phase in a ping pong manner. The output unit (700) is adapted to generate the plurality of linear chirp signals corresponding to the received plurality of chore frequencies.
