Abstract: SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING CROWDSOURCED VISUAL ENVIRONMENTAL MAP ABSTRACT A system (100) for generating a crowdsourced visual environmental map is disclosed. The system (100) comprising an environmental sensing unit (102) configured to acquire environmental measurement data associated with an environmental parameter at a geographic location, a positioning unit (104) configured to acquire location data associated with the environmental measurement data, a communication unit (106) configured to transmit the environmental measurement data and the location data, and a processing unit (108). The system (100) is configured to receive the environmental measurement data and corresponding location data from the environmental sensing unit (102) and the positioning unit (104), respectively, associate each of the environmental measurement data with a corresponding geographic location based on the corresponding location data, classify the environmental measurement data according to the environmental parameter, determine spatial environmental values for geographic regions based on environmental measurement data associated with the geographic regions, and generate a visual map.
