MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641068276 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on May 28, 2026, for System And Method For Generating Execution Control Signals For Electronic Transaction Processing Platform.
Inventors include Dev Agarwal; and S. Sandosh.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a system (102) and a method (200) for generating execution control signals for an electronic transaction processing platform. The system (100) includes a data acquisition unit (102) configured to receive market data corresponding to financial instruments, market data including OHLCV values selected from open, high, low, close, and volume. A processor (104) coupled with data acquisition unit (102) and a memory (106) executes instructions to validate and clean OHLCV values and generate structured market data. The processor (104) extracts multi-timeframe features representing volatility, momentum, volume, and price action. The processor (104) evaluates forecasting models in parallel, selects best-performing volatility forecasting model, and activates a fallback model upon instability. A prediction engine (104-1) combines machine learning and statistical model outputs to generate a computed output value. A regime classification unit (104-2) classifies volatility regimes. A control logic unit (104-3) adjusts thresholds and generates execution control signals with confidence metrics.
