Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GENERATING STRUCTURED PHOTONIC HOLOGRAMS USING ELECTROMAGNETICALLY INDUCED GEL MORPHOLOGY The present invention relates to a system (100) and method (200) for generating a structured photonic hologram. The system (100) comprises a chamber (102) containing an organic gel medium, an electromagnetic stimulation assembly (104), a control unit (106), and an optical interrogation assembly (108). The method (200) comprises providing (202) the organic gel medium, applying (204) a controlled electromagnetic field according to input data, inducing (206) field-guided self-assembly within the organic gel medium to form a persistent field-shaped morphology, and interrogating (208) the persistent field-shaped morphology using coherent or repeated-pass optical interaction to generate the structured photonic hologram. The present invention enables rewritable morphology-based optical modulation, tunable holographic output, localized reset operation, and persistent morphology retention after reduction or removal of the controlled electromagnetic field.
