Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GOVERNING A DIAGNOSTIC NETWORK WITH VERIFIED SELECTIVE UNLEARNING A system (100) governs a diagnostic network (112) trained on physiological recordings (138) serving an inference path (114). An ingestion and provenance module (106) binds each recording at ingestion to a declared contributing party in an indexed ledger (108), resolving a withdrawal request (140) to an exact forget set (144) by lookup. A feasibility module (116) refuses the request without modifying parameters when a separability score of the forget set against a retained set (146) is below a boundary. A removal engine (118) modifies parameters without retraining, yielding a candidate model (142). A verification engine (120) fine-tunes the candidate model on forget samples in a bounded relearning attack, computing a recovery excess above an oracle reference model (122) recovery floor, the oracle trained on the retained set. An acceptance controller (124) withholds the candidate model unless the excess meets a recovery ceiling, the network still serving. (Fig. 1)
