Abstract: A method for trust propagation in a decentralized identity validation network is disclosed. The method comprises receiving, by a trust propagation engine, identity validation records from a plurality of validator nodes associated with a decentralized identity network. The method comprises extracting, from the identity validation records, trust evidence corresponding to validation interactions performed among the plurality of validator nodes. The method comprises constructing, by the trust propagation engine, a trust relationship graph comprising validator nodes and trust relationship links established based on the extracted trust evidence. The method comprises assigning trust weights to the trust relationship links according to validation outcomes associated with the validation interactions. The method comprises propagating trust information through the trust relationship graph by iteratively evaluating trust weights along one or more trust paths connecting validator nodes. The method comprises aggregating propagated trust information associated with a target decentralized identity from a plurality of validator nodes.
