Abstract: PERSON FINDER-AI POWERED WEB PLATFORM FOR MISSING PERSON IDENTIFICATION USING FACIAL RECOGNITION A method and system for image-based individual identification are disclosed. The method includes receiving a registration image and one or more identity attributes associated with an individual. Further, detecting a primary registration face from the registration image, and generating a registration face encoding. The method further includes receiving a search request comprising a query image. Further, detecting a primary query face within the query image, and generating a query face encoding. Further, computing a distance score between the query face encoding and the registration face encoding, the distance score indicating a degree of facial similarity between the primary query face and the primary registration face. Further, the method includes transmitting a match result to a user device. The match result comprising the one or more identity attributes associated with the individual.
