The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated gas-liquid separator for water electrolyser, configured to perform simultaneous gas- liquid separation and in-situ cooling of hydrogen and oxygen gases together with the circulating electrolyte. The separator comprises a separator tank defining a gas-phase zone and a liquid-phase zone, and a circumferential external cooling jacket partitioned into an upper and a lower cooling section corresponding respectively to the gas and liquid zones. The integrated configuration reduces use of external coolers, lowers energy consumption, and provides a compact and efficient solution for hydrogen and oxygen production.
