Abstract: ABSTRACT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IN-VEHICLE SECURITY MANAGEMENT The present disclosure describes a system (100) for in-vehicle security management in an in-vehicle communication network. The system (100) comprises a plurality of functional units (102) configured to communicate over the in-vehicle communication network. The system (100) comprises at least one security setup module (104) configured to assign a distinct security configuration to each functional unit. The system (100) comprises a risk detection module (106) configured to monitor and detect a security risk in each of the plurality of functional units (102). The system (100) comprises a communication rerouting module (108) configured to block access to a compromised functional unit (102A) of the plurality of functional units (102) and reroute communication to an alternate functional unit (102B) of the plurality of functional units (102) having a different security configuration than the compromised functional unit (102A).
