Abstract: The present invention discloses a system and method for intelligent gait-based detection of drunk individuals using AI-enabled video surveillance. The system integrates computer vision techniques, including human detection, multi-object tracking, pose estimation, spatiotemporal gait feature extraction, and deep learning-based classification to analyze walking patterns without requiring wearable devices or user interaction. A confidence-based decision engine evaluates gait characteristics and generates risk scores to distinguish potentially impaired individuals from normal pedestrians while minimizing false alarms through adaptive environmental compensation and temporal analysis. Upon detecting a predefined risk threshold, the system securely transmits alerts and visual evidence to authorized personnel through a centralized monitoring dashboard for further assessment.
