Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Intelligent Medication Management and Adherence Monitoring The present disclosure relates to an intelligent medication management and adherence monitoring system and method. It includes a medication storage unit, an adaptive medication identification module, a medication stability evaluation module, a multi-stage dispensing verification module, a dosage extraction verification module, a medication interaction risk evaluation module, a medication consumption confirmation module, a dynamic adherence confidence scoring module, a predictive adherence and refill management module, a sensor health self- diagnostic module, an autonomous medication event correlation engine, one or more processors, a memory, and a communication interface. The processor authenticates medications by physical characteristics, determines storage integrity by environmental monitoring, validates dispensing by correlated multi-sensor observations, verifies dosage accuracy, assesses medication interaction risk, confirms probable medication consumption, generates adherence confidence scores, predicts missed doses and refill needs, and correlates validated medication events into a unified workflow. The disclosed system enhances medication authentication, dispensing accuracy, adherence verification, medicine integrity assessment, patient safety, and healthcare decision support using coordinated hardware-assisted sensing and intelligent event correlation.
