Abstract: Disclosed is a system (400) and a method (600) for writing a data record in a communication network (100). A request to write the data record in a plurality of data storages is received. The request comprises a plurality of fields corresponding to a data blueprint. The plurality of fields corresponding to the data blueprint is interpreted using one or more annotations. The request is analyzed to determine whether the request is a record-creation request or a record-update request. Upon determination, the request is processed by creating or updating the data record in the plurality of data storages. A broadcast request is transmitted to an application for updating a plurality of running instances with the created or the updated data record. Fig. 6
