Abstract: ABSTRACT System and Method for Medical Laboratory Data Analysis and Diagnostic Decision Support The present disclosure relates to a system and method for analysis of medical laboratory data and diagnostic decision support. The system collects heterogeneous laboratory and clinical data from different diagnostic platforms and integrates the data into a common analytical framework. The pre-analytical sample quality is evaluated by a specimen integrity assessment module while the measurement deviations specific to an analyzer are corrected by an analyzer drift compensation engine based on the calibration and quality-control information. An analytical confidence estimation module ascribes reliability indices to laboratory measurements and a multi-modal biomarker correlation engine identifies clinically significant relationships among various diagnostic parameters. Furthermore, the system identifies conflicting laboratory results, determines individual reference ranges, generates prioritized diagnostic hypotheses, and recommends optimal reflex laboratory testing based on expected diagnostic information gain. Explainable diagnostic recommendations are produced by evidence mapping. A secure validation ledger ensures full traceability of analytical operations. The present invention provides for improved reliability of laboratory data, diagnostic accuracy, workflow efficiency, transparency and regulatory compliance, providing technically advanced and evidence-based clinical diagnostic decision support.
