MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641086702 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology on July 15, 2026, for System And Method For Metadata-Assisted Deterministic Memory-Access Control In High-Density Storage Structures.

Inventors include Dr. V. Sivakumar; and Srijith R.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for deterministic bounded-runtime insertion and query operations in high-density hash tables. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having a processor (104), and a memory (106). The processor (104) is configured to execute plurality of functional modules (108). The functional modules (108) comprise a hash table management module (110), a metadata management module (112), a primary hash function module (114), a secondary hash function module (116), a deterministic placement control module (118), and a bounded relocation management module (120). The processor (104) evaluates a primary index position and a secondary index position for each key and restricts relocation of previously inserted keys according to a predetermined fixed relocation threshold, thereby maintaining deterministically bounded indexed memory-access operations under high-density operating conditions.
