MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641080848 A) filed by Vellore Institute Of Technology, Chennai on June 30, 2026, for System And Method For Multi-Modal Epigenetic Intervention Using Machine Learning.

Inventors include Sahaya Beni Prathiba; Dhanalakshmi R; Kalyanasundaram V; Keerthi Aj; and Yuvan Shankar Babu K.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system (102) for monitoring behavioral adaptation. The system (102) includes a plurality of IoT nodes (104) deployed in one or more environments, each IoT node (104) comprising one or more sensors configured to detect one or more environmental parameters associated with the one or more environments. The system (102) receives the one or more environmental parameters associated with the one or more environments. The system (102) determines state of the one or more environments and the organisms based on the received one or more environmental parameters. The system (102) analyzes via a machine learning model the one or more environmental parameters to generate one or more epigenetic interventions based on an adaptive response decision received from the plurality of IoT nodes (104). The system (102) receives feedback information based on the generated one or more epigenetic and determines a modified state of the one or more environments.
