The system ingests unstructured records (102) in multiple formats. A document intelligence layer (106) extracts medical entities, which are then canonicalized by a normalization engine (108) into a standardized schema to resolve semantic ambiguities. A continuity engine (110) links related normalized medical events to construct a chronological, longitudinal health timeline. A longitudinal analysis engine (112) analyzes the complete health timeline to detect patterns, such as recurring conditions, and generates a non-diagnostic insight (114). The present invention provides a unified, continuous view of a pet's health history to support pet owners and veterinarians, enabling the detection of long-term health trends.
