MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611060032 A) filed by Ahmed S. Al-Akayshee; and Dr. Rohit Sharma on May 12, 2026, for System And Method For Multimodal Data Representation Using Transformer-Based Encoding Architectures.

Inventors include Ahmed S. Al-Akayshee; and Dr. Rohit Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: A system and method for multimodal data representation using transformer-based encoding architectures are disclosed. The system comprises a multimodal acquisition unit configured to receive heterogeneous data streams from optical sensing devices, acoustic sensing devices, textual input interfaces, and environmental sensing devices. A preprocessing processor performs signal normalization, temporal synchronization, dimensional alignment, denoising, segmentation, and token generation operations to generate modality-specific token sequences. A positional embedding processor generates multidimensional positional vectors corresponding to temporal sequence positions, spatial orientation characteristics, contextual dependencies, and modality identifiers associated with the modality-specific token sequences. A transformer encoding processor comprising parallel transformer encoding layers performs contextual embedding generation using query vector generation circuitry, key vector projection circuitry, value vector transformation circuitry, self-attention computation circuitry, feed-forward transformation circuitry, normalization circuitry, and residual propagation circuitry. A cross-modal synchronization processor establishes semantic relationships between contextual embeddings associated with heterogeneous modalities through inter-modal attention computations and semantic correlation operations.
