Abstract: Abstract System and Method for Normalized Lubrication Diagnosis Using Vibration Residuals and Mechanical Fault Discrimination The present invention discloses a system and method for diagnosing lubrication abnormalities in rotating machinery using controlled motor speed variation and vibration residual analysis. The system comprises a motor assembly (102), MPU6050 sensor (109), ESP32 microcontroller (101), and indication components. A healthy reference vibration profile is established at predetermined rotational speeds. During monitoring, vibration features comprising root mean square amplitude, peak amplitude, and frequency dependent components are extracted and normalized against corresponding healthy reference measurements. Residual vibration characteristics are evaluated together with rotationally synchronous and impulsive vibration signatures to discriminate suspected lubrication deterioration from mechanical faults. Repeated measurements improve diagnostic consistency, while controlled postmaintenance measurements facilitate verification of maintenance effects and reference requalification. The invention provides operating condition normalized lubrication assessment and maintenance indications for rotating machinery.
