Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a system and method for personalized contact lens fitting using a machine-learned ocular digital twin. The system acquires multimodal ocular and patient-specific data including corneal topography, ocular surface characteristics, tear-film parameters, pupil dynamics, blink behavior, refractive measurements, and lens performance data to generate a digital twin representing the anatomical, physiological, optical, and biomechanical characteristics of an individual's eye. A machine learning engine continuously trains and updates the ocular digital twin to simulate interactions between candidate contact lenses and the ocular environment. The system predicts fitting outcomes including lens centration, rotation, movement, comfort, visual performance, and tear-film stability prior to lens dispensing. Post-fitting clinical measurements, environmental factors, and patient feedback are incorporated to dynamically refine the digital twin and optimize future lens recommendations. The invention provides an adaptive, simulation-driven, and continuously evolving framework that improves fitting accuracy, reduces trial-and-error fitting procedures, minimizes follow-up visits, and enhances overall patient outcomes.
