The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure proposes a system (100) for post-harvest wheat grain age determination using image-based analysis. The system (100) comprises a computing device (102) having a processor (104) and a memory (106). The processor (104) executes plurality of modules (112) having an image acquisition module (114), a communication module (115), a preprocessing module (116), an inference module (118), a classification module (120), an output generation module (122), and a display module (124). An RGB digital image of a wheat grain sample is acquired, transmitted, standardized, transformed into an image tensor, and normalized for analysis. Image features representative of morphological and colorimetric wheat grain characteristics are extracted to generate age-classification scores corresponding to predefined post-harvest temporal storage classes. A post-harvest age class and an associated confidence value are generated and presented, enabling automated and non- destructive determination of post-harvest wheat grain age.
