An engine temperature is received from a temperature sensor (6) mounted on the engine (8). When the engine temperature enter a yellow zone, an alert is generated to notify the operator to manually disengage a PTO clutch (100) of the tractor, however, the PTO clutch is automatically disengaged if the engine temperature enters a red zone along with notifying the operator. Further, a data including the temperature, alerts, manual disengagement, and automatic disengagement is logged and sent to a server for processing to determine a preventive maintenance recommendation for the engine.
