Further, the method comprises generating a verification code associated with the internal identity responsive to a linking request and validating the verification code for associating an additional platform-specific identifier with the internal identity. The method further comprises associating a plurality of platform-specific identifiers with the internal identity while maintaining isolation of the plurality of platform-specific identifiers across the plurality of communication platforms. Further, the method comprises receiving device control commands, resolving the device control commands to associated devices, and executing device operations independent of an originating communication platform.
