Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for providing location-based fitness services using a vehicle- based fitness unit (114). The system (100) comprises a user interface module (102) configured to register users, authenticate user login, receive fitness session booking requests, and display fitness session and fitness unit information. A session and location allocation module (104) allocates fitness sessions to predetermined locations and associates the vehicle-based fitness unit (114) with the allocated fitness sessions. A location tracking module (106) determines and displays real-time GPS location and movement status of the vehicle-based fitness unit (114). A payment module (108) processes payments associated with fitness sessions. An access control module (110) authenticates users and permits access to the vehicle-based fitness unit (114).
