MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611094762 A) filed by Vansh Arora on August 05, 2026, for System And Method For Real-Time Multi-Parameter Air Quality Monitoring, Environmental Alerting And Centralized Data Management.

Inventor includes Vansh Arora.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart air quality monitoring system and method for continuously monitoring multiple indoor environmental parameters and providing real-time environmental assessment, alert generation, and centralized environmental data management. The system comprises an environmental monitoring device including an embedded processing controller, a plurality of environmental sensing modules configured to measure carbon dioxide concentration, carbon monoxide concentration, particulate matter concentration, ambient temperature, and relative humidity, a display module, an audible alarm module, a wireless communication module, a local memory module, and a hybrid power management module configured to selectively operate using either a rechargeable battery or an external AC power source. The embedded processing controller continuously acquires environmental measurements, performs calibration, validation, filtering, and threshold evaluation, displays real-time environmental information locally, stores historical measurements, and wirelessly transmits environmental data to a cloud server for centralized monitoring and long-term environmental record management. Whenever one or more monitored environmental parameters exceed predefined threshold values, the system automatically generates audible alerts and environmental event records to enable timely corrective action. The centralized platform facilitates simultaneous monitoring of multiple monitoring devices distributed across different locations while maintaining historical environmental records for trend analysis, facility management, preventive maintenance, and conservation planning. The invention is particularly suitable for museums, archives, libraries, hospitals, laboratories, educational institutions, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and other indoor environments requiring continuous environmental monitoring, intelligent environmental assessment, and real-time notification of unsafe environmental conditions.
